In the slope engineering, design is the core, supervision the measure, and construction is the assurance. The reasonable project of timbering design determines the success of the slope engineering. It depends on three aspects: first, the safeness of the slope and ambience is ensured; second, use function of the slope is satisfied; third, the lowest cost of project. The project argumentation,project selection is a key part in the design, so it should arouse the designer's great attention. Optimization design will be the only way and the trend in the development of the design of slope. The text basing on the study of the advantage and disadvantage of the heavy and light retaining structure and the applicable condition of them absorbs their strongpoint sufficiently, combines the two skillfully and puts forward a new-style slope timbering structure model----self-balanced composite retaining wall. And on this basis, it proposes a set of design and computing technologies Through reading extensively and analyzing synthetically of the relative document both domestic and abroad, the text carries through systems analysis and introduction of dynamics character and analysis computing method of the foundation pile under horizontal load. On this basis, the text uses Ansys (finite element procedure) carrying on numerical simulation analysis to horizontal bearing capacity characteristic of the batter pile, and mainly discusses the function of the inclined direction and the obliquity of the pile shaft to the batter pile horizontal bearing capacity. At last, following the M-method foundation pile internal force and displacement analysis principle recommended by present criterion, it provides a analytic computing method for raking pile and displacement under the interaction of horizontal load and vertical load in project application. The self-balanced composite retaining wall proposed by the text makes fully use of the advantages of heavy and light retaining structure and avoids a large mount of reinforcing steel bar in pile board retaining wall and large slope angle excavation in the gravity retaining wall. It ensures the safe structure as well as saves the materials, reduces the construction difficulty and the project cost greatly. It has favorable economic and social benefit.
