| Slope can be divided into natural slope and artificial slope. The collapse of slope often caused huge casualties and economic losses.During the implementation of basic construction projects in recent years, there appeared many slope and foundation pit project whose sites and geological condition are complicated. Some of the traditional slope retaining structure are unable to meet the requirements of project design. Thus new slope retaining structure is needed to help solve the problems in slope project with harsh geological conditions, and meanwhile to reduce the the engineering cost.The self-balanced composite retaining wall talked in this paper is a new composite retaining structure,which provides a good advantage in the slope support.This paper first introduces the research status and problems of self-balanced composite retaining wall,then the parts above the sliding surface and beneath the sliding surface are summarized and studied.The structure form and mechanical mechanism of the self-balanced composite retaining wall are analyzed,the calculation method of the self-balanced composite retaining wall with prestressed anchor cable is improved,and emphatically the embedment and immobilization of vertical pile and batter pile beneath the sliding surface and stability of soil in front of pile are derived theoretically, enabling self-balanced composite retaining wall to have universal applicability and wide application range.The formulas for getting internal force of laterally loaded pile are summarized in this paper. According to the need of engineering application, “ m-method” and “ K-method” which are commonly used in the elastic subgrade reaction method are selected to analyze the stress of self-balanced composite retaining wall,and the practical calculation procedures are prepared according to the stiffness matrix,so as to guide the practical engineering design.Finally, finite difference software FLAC3D is used to simulate the embedment and immobilization of batter piles;the Mohr-Coulomb yield criterion in model library is used to define material parameters of soil and pile;the batter piles under lateral load are analyzed by forming calculation model close to the actual engineering;the reference value of the reduction coefficient of subgrade reaction considering the weakening of soil in front of the batter piles is proposed through changing the inclination angle of batter piles. |
