Study On Applicability Of The Integrative Apparatus For Water Purification

An integrative apparatus for water purification has been developed, which has the characteristics of simple structure, low manufacture cost, simply and conveniently to be operated, and the maximum treatment capacity 50m3/d. In this thesis, firstly, the treatment effects of higher turbidity source water by conventional treatment technology were investigated. In addition, the treatment effects of micro-polluted source water by Bio-contact oxidation pretreatment-conventional treatment technology with the apparatus for water purification, and the impact of Bio-contact oxidation pretreatment on following conventional treatment technology were studied. Finally, improvement advices on the apparatus for water purification were brought forward through experimental study on the applicability of it to treat the different source water. Experimental study showed that the integrative apparatus for water purification had better efficiency in removing turbidity, CODMn, NH3-N, NO2―-N and NO3―-N of raw water to the higher turbidity source water of the Yangtze River. In the condition of the design flow 40m3/d, the average turbidity of effluent was 0.25NTU and its overall removal efficiency was 99.60~99.94%. The average concentration of CODMn , NH3-N, NO2―-N, NO3―-N in effluent was 1.98mg/L, 0.34mg/L, 0.007mg/L and 2.78mg/L respectively. The overall removal efficiency was 41.86~56.27%, 52.94~63.54%, 66.67~81.82% and 13.89~21.43% respectively. The integrative apparatus for water purification also had better efficiency in removing turbidity, CODMn, NH3-N, NO2―-N and chroma of raw water to the micro-polluted source water. In the condition of the flow 10m3/d and Air-Water Ratio 0.7, the average turbidity of effluent was 0.67NTU and its overall removal efficiency was 94.94~97.41%. The average concentration of CODMn , NH3-N , NO2―-N, NO3―-N and chroma in effluent was 3.14mg/L, 0.19mg/L, 0.005mg/L, 2.80mg/L and 7 degrees respectively. The overall removal efficiency was 68.01~71.93%, 84.17~88.64%, 80.65~84.00%, -12.50~-3.70% and 91.67~95.83% respectively. During the experiment, it was found that every processing unit of the apparatus for water purification had different removal function in the treatment of raw water to the different source water. The coagulation and sedimentation could remove most of turbidity, CODMn, NH3-N and NO3―-N of raw water to the higher turbidity source water. Also, the coagulation and sedimentation could remove most of turbidity, CODMn, NO3―-N and chroma of raw water, and the filtration could remove most of NH3-N and NO2―-N of raw water to the micro-polluted source water. The operation cost of the apparatus for water purification and its applicative foreground were also briefly analyzed in this thesis. The result showed that the unit operation cost of the apparatus for water purification was 0.834RMB/m3 in the condition of the design flow 40m3/d, when it treated the higher turbidity source water. The unit operation cost of the apparatus for water purification decreased from 2.575RMB/m3 to 0.717RMB/m3, when its scale of treatment increased from 10m3/d to 50m3/d.
