Due to the different characteristics of furnace gas produced by convenor and different converter volume, the contribute value and circulation system construction of convertor are different. Every boiloff refrigeration system of convertor is designed and completed by user. In despite of the factual applications of diversified circulation systems of convertor waste heat boilers have been done, though the convertor waste heat boilers have the nonstandard characteristic by users' demands and satisfying technical operations, many structure and circulation problems have not yet been solved generally. It conduced the short using life time and great operation energy waste of waste heat boilers. Therefore, it's necessary to do the analysis of design and application result on convertor waste heat boilers.In this paper, the circulation system design, structure and relative calculation analysis of convertor waste heat boilers have been done, and the factual operation parameters are contrasted. It is up to the goal of reasonable design for convertor waste heat boilers circulation system constructed by nonstandard equipments, and the theoretical and technical conditions are to be given for the project design application in the future. The main conclusions in this paper are listed as the following:Based on that the large converters are used or the convertors capacity are enlarged in the new and rebuilding projects in present, the advice is that using middle pressure/low pressure forced +natural circulation system or pressure/low pressure forced circulation system. The compound circulation system is the goal of development of large-scale converter waste heat boilers circulation systems to become safety and energy reservation.When the converter waste heat boiler structures are designed, the section thermal load must be less than 3MW/m2 to guarantee that the converter waste heat boiler haven't slag, and there are some abundant value to guarantee that the normal fluctuation of converter technical operation hasn't large disadvantages.For the forced circulation system, to avoid the excessive values of circulation water dynamic, every water cooling tube must be mounted throttle plate in the design. From the analysis of medium flow direction and resistance state, for the converter waste heat boiler, the suggestion is that the larger throttle aperture is used for the middle 2-4 water cooling tubes between every 2 water tubes, the aperture is bigger2~3mm than the total calculation.Because that the start of the converter waste heat boiler is rapid and operator is accustomed to the operation method of smaller steam drum water level fluctuation, the suggestion is that the larger steam drum than common industrial boiler is to be used, moreover, the steam cubage must be calculated by the instantaneous production of steam flow under the condition of 0.3 burning coefficient.As a result of the steam is not supplied to the outside during the operation initial stages of the converter waste heat boiler, the steam is all emitted to the environment during this stage. The usual electromotion discharge valve isn't satisfied the biggest pressure change speed (0.008MPa/s) during the first minute. Therefore, the suggestion is that adding the bypass pressure adjust valve of steam drum electromotion discharge valve to guarantee the stable or slowly drop of steam drum pressure.
