Gear transmission system are most widely used as motion and load transform part in all kinds of machine and equipment, which dynamical property and ability have significant effects on the machine and equipment. In order to improve the transmission efficiency, the system is tended to design to run in high-speed and heavy-load condition and with small shape. The vibration, noise, dynamical load, big stress and distortion caused by high-speed and heavy-load can severely influence the safety and stability of the machine. It is instant to carry on the study on the high-speed and heavy-load gear transmission system with high property. This paper is under granted of the special scientific research fund of Doctor's program:The analysis system about dynamical property of the high-speed and heavy-load gear transmission which certificate number is 2001061106. The models for high-speed and heavy-load gear have been created based on analyzing gear transmission system,of which dynamic load factor has been calculated using three classical calculating method, respectively. Comparing the results and summarizing the factor of effecting on dynamic load factor, a new method has been proposed to calculate approximately the dynamic load of gear transmission system.The followings are main tasks of the paper: 1) With method of material mechanics and contact finite element to investigate the meshing stiffness about the gear transmission. 2) Three classical dynamic load factor methodes have been introduced to calculating dynamic load factor for high-speed and heavy-load gear model. 3) Comparing the three classical methods of calculating dynamic load factor, the major factor of effect on dynamic loading factor has been found. 4) Analyzing the major factor of effect on the dynamic load factor, three-dimensional FEM model has been created to emulate time-variable stiffness,gear tooth error and meshing shock ,which calculeted dynamic load factor approximately. A new method has been proposed to calculate dynamic load factor.
