The Research On Function Classification Of The Highway

With the rapid development of the economy and traffic infrastructure construction of our country, reasonable traffic planning has already become a very important part of our country'highway construction. There is important directive significance to traffic planning in the research of the function of the highway, so it is very essential to carry on deeper research in this respect. At present, there is little study on function of the highway of our country, and it does not have clear definition and standard that the function of the highway is classified. The paper has researched the classification of the highway function on the basis of the existing research results, and confirmed the scale and structure of the highway function when the network of highways of our country reaches stable state. The function of highway is present through the network of highways, so the study on the function of highway is set up on the basis of studying about the network system of highway. The paper has analyzed the intension of the function of highway after analyzing the relation of administration classification, technology classification and function classification; then the paper analyses the key element of the network of highways and characteristic. The paper divides the network of highways of our country into five levels and proposes each level network of highways and the same level network of highways have structure of self-similarity according to fractal theory. On the basis of analysis, the paper has researched the classification of highway function and received the definition and standard of classification of highway function. Finally the paper has received the functional scale and structure of our country's network of highways using the diagram method and fractal theory. The functional structure of network of highways received is similar to developed countries. That proves the research of the paper has realistic meanings.
