In this thesis, Approximation concept is introduced to analyses the structure shape optimum of the truss. To attain the purpose of the stanza material, By choosing appropriate generalized intermediate variables, It is further to increases the quantity that the approximation problem, Lower the problem-solving difficulty. Formative approximation problem is solved by variable metric method for constrained optimization. This text uses VC++6.0 program language, and adopts the object-oriented method to describe the classes of model for trusses, and realizes the visual parameter importation, The initial data and results can be viewed with tables and figures according to users need. This program is indicated to realize the validity and the visual purpose by the test for two examples.
