The paper has designed a new hardware project based on dsp TMS320C32 , harmonic analyze software arithmetic and the improved multi-variable control strategy aim at the main questions of low voltage line reactive power compensation device, use rs-485 bus build new structure of the system. Error evaluation and practice run indicated that the whole capability, competence to resist harmonic, effect of compensation, flexibility of the device all excelled the traditional product. It has active guidance meaning and applied value to the engineering practice.Due to the limitation of experimentation, about how to improve the control strategy to get better compensation effect, dynamic calculation and real-time adjust of capacitor capability, large numbers of data storage still have some shortcoming to research and consummate.
