In tangential firing system, residual rotation of airflow at furnace outlet is on of main reasons for gas temperature deviation between two sides of furnace outlet and horizontal gas duct. Based on the characteristic of tangential firing and the characteristic of DG670t/h type boiler, this paper have analyzed the causes of residual rotation in DG670t/h type boiler and eliminating methods, used the calculation of the furnace swirl number, proposed a reverse blowing project of the upper secondary air and retrofitted the NO.8 boiler of MaTou power plant. After the retrofitting, the temperature deviation of the flue gas and the superheater and reheater have been ameliorated, assuring the boiler is running in safe, giving a advice to the same type of boiler...
