Study On Landscape Restoration Of Expressway In Jiangnan Hilly Regions

With the rapid development of China's construction of the expressway, the expressway begins to cover both the plains and the hilly regions. This development has introduced great advantages to regional economies as well as caused a series of environmental problems in the Jiangnan hilly regions such as Hunan, Jiangxi, Anhwei. The author believed that, by investigating the characteristic of construction of the expressway and appraising the influence on local ecological environment, the research on landscape restoration of the expressway has important significance. Therefore, this dissertation reviewed the development course that the landscape restoration of expressway at first, and understand its connotation thoroughly, and summarized content and principle of the landscape restoration of the expressway according to relevant theories of restoration ecology, landscape ecology and landscape architecture. Then Through the investigations of the main position of the expressway (including side slope, central strip, intersection, tunnel, spoil and fill area ), this dissertation has put forward effective method, and with the actual project of Xiangxi section of Chang-Ji expressway in Hunan go on explaining the case in detail. Finally for measuring the effect that landscape restoration of expressway, this dissertation considers it is necessary to launch quality evaluation about landscape restoration, and try to discuss its principle, working routine, content and method.Through studying, this dissertation summarized that landscape restoration of the expressway is to rely mainly on the vegetation recovery, the choice of suitable plant resources is the key to restoring successfully, and the results along with other ecological benefits show the gradation of greening patterns which can exert best ecological benefits: arbor with shrub and herbage> shrub with herbage>vine> herbage; The slope sides are the core parts of the restoration. It should adopt the combination of ecological measures and engineering measures to provide good conditions for plants' growth. Among these measures, the greening technology of SF is quite effective to the restoration and should be widely used; The landscape restoration should carried out from the characteristics of the expressway itself and take consideration of people's needs. It should focus on the visual effect which aims at relaxing drivers and passengers on the basis of protecting the driving safety; The landscape restoration of the expressway is by no means a simple restoration of the species but a comprehensive restoration of the systematic structure, functions and durability. It is a must to strengthen the wildlife reserve when restore the plants. The communication between different species should be promoted in some special ways.
