Study On Regional Landscape Design In Jiangnan Area

Along with the advances of modern society's economy and technology, efficiency and speed are puisuited while regionality is gradually neglected,and the city's geographical features gradually disappear. In the globalized world, the view of convergence about landscape is more and more serious, distinct parts of the original landscape features are gradually disappearing, the development of landscape has become a unavoided problem in modern landscape design and landscape academic community ,it has to be solved.Landscape grows in a particular place above the specific area.The regionality is not only a form of regional harmony and echo, but is also adapt to local natural, social, economic and technological development. Inheritance on the old classic things and the acceptance on new things make people try to put the tradition into modern landscape design. Jiangnan area has many excellent natural resources and unique geographical characteristics which is due to its special geographical position,long history and culture. Jangnan area's rich resources and geographic features of the landscape are being explored gradually under the trend of calling regionalism return.The content and innovation of this research:At first,this paper reviews the background of on landscape design, analysises the purpose, significance and method of study on jiangnan regional landscape, present structure of this paper and analyzes the case of foreign typical regional landscape ,whitch is combined with the theories of regional integration, regionalism, critical regionalism, places - Context and so on.Secondly, the paper defines the concept of cultural territory in Jiangnan, which is studied by the natural environment, local culture, traditional garden space and materials technology, analysises the Southern traditional landscape; on this basis, concludes the expression of landscape design on Jiangnan area, study of how to use "new jiangnan style" better in landscape design with examples.In the end, this paper uses Jiangjin Xiake road as example to carry out specific analysis.This is the first time to perform theoretical research of regional landscape design through a very inspect-value theory in Jiangnan area.Study on regional landscape design is mostly used for building construction in China at present,the research for landscape has yet to be developed, especially for a region-specific research. Research on the contents and features of regional landscape design to enrich the theoretical foundation of regional landscape design research.Study on landscape elements in Jiangnan area so as to provide a specific design methods to make the landscape design work more scientific, targeted, and unique.
