This thesis has studied the SDCS (Surplus Distance Control Speed) based on VWF elevator and designed the according embedded system module, which makes the elevator speed control based on surplus distance come true. The specific details include:1. Based on the study of the model of VWF elevator system and several present common speed control strategy, this thesis puts forward SDCS speed control strategy which controls the speed of elevator according to surplus distance from the absolute value encoder and make use of PDD arithmetic to adjust the speed according to the real-time speed feedback from rotary encoder, which makes two closed loop come true.2. SDCS is the core of the thesis. It used sine curve as the ideal velocity curve. Based on the scheme put forward, the specific SDCS arithmetic is designed and digital PID arithmetic is applied.3. The embedded SDCS module including hardware and software was designed. The software is accomplished with the tool of Assemble Language and C.
