The metal pushing V-Belt type continuously variable transmission (CVT) is an advanced technology to develop passenger car with the advantages of simple and compact structure, easy operation excellent performance, and low cost which can meet the demands to develop transmission of the passenger car in our country. The dissertation mainly focuses on the transmission mechanism, matching law and the synthesized control method of metal pushing V-Belt type CVT system。In the beginning the characteristics, the types, the research purpose and the develop tendency of the metal belt CVT are talked. The structure and the working principle of the CVT are provided. The key sections of the transmission are introduced. The engine with CVT can change its rotary speed in a small range while the vehicle speed can change widely. the dissertation reviews the structure and theory of CVT, compares its feature, efficiency, reliability, lift and cost with conventional step transmission. Based on large numbers of related books, Multi-body System Dynamics is detailed discussed in the process of research, development and appliance in vehicle. To introduce the mechanical theory of Multi-body System Dynamics used software of ADAMS. First, to introduce the software and its modules; then, to discuss its analysis and calculate methods. On the basis of the test data ,the minimum rate of oil consuming line is the cover line of the engine load and the effected rate of the oil consuming under various rotation speed. we make a outer performance test of the torque converter by the fixing rotate-speed method. From the test, we get some performance parameter such as torque ratio, capacity factor and efficiency. And we plot the original characteristic curve of the torque converter by the testing data. By making a...
