With the development of the networking, the technology is more and moreapplicable in automobile. And its functionality is strengthening with the feature ofreducing the diameter and the number in the automobile. At the same time the netwiring makes the computer get into the system of the automobile and acceleratesthe process of the automobile intelligentizing. CAN(Controller Area Network)bushas become the direction of the networking technology in automotive. The metalpushing V-belt type continuously variable transmission (CVT) has the advantagesof simple and compact structure, easy operation, excellent performance, low costand fuel economy. This paper focused on the transmission mechanism and basedon the CAN bus control system of the metal pushing V-Belt type CVT system. Thecontent is mainly about:1. Analyzed the characteristics and application of metal pushing V-Belt typeCVT technology. Through the comparison with other transmission, it shows thatthe metal pushing V-Belt type CVT will be the developing tendency for thetransmission of passenger car.2. Analyzed the kinematics of the belt to describe the load distribution andvariation of the element compressive force and ring tensile force. After that set upthe relationship of the transmitted torque, ratio and clamping force. Finally thethesis proposed the algorithm to determine clamping force.3. Based on the analysis about the CAN bus basis specialty, this thesisintroduced the basic information about CAN protocol.. The object layer and thetransfer layer comprise all services and functions of the data link layer defined byISO/OSI model. The user's development is mostly in the user layer. CAN protocol...
