Replacing the traditional road-building material by the artificial synthesize material (compound consolidated soil) could resolve the shortage of the traditional road-building material ,reduce the cost of engineering project and bring greatly economic social benefits. The plentiful tests in this thesis were carrying on with the soil stabilizer as the additional material. The test result on the unconfined compressive strength of the compound consolidated soil indicated that the early unconfined compressive strength is higher than limestone soil or limestone-fly ash soil. The unconfined compressive strength of the lime-consolidated soil in 7 days age exceed 1.10 MPa and subsequent unconfined strength increased very quickly. The strength of it in 28 days age can reach or exceed the limestone soil compressive strength in 90 days age. The cement-consolidated soil unconfined compressive strength in 7days age can exceed 2.5 MPa , and it could prolong valid construction period in the north frozen region. The test result on the bending strength of the compound consolidated soil indicated that the bending strength is higher than the cement-stabilized sand gravel which was prescribed in the criterion and closer to the limestone-fly ash macadam.
