Now the engine has been keeping to increase significantly by its good economic capability. With the build-up of society environmentattention, people know the emission of the engine is terrible. With the development of microwave heating technology, the applications about the emission of engine have become the newly arisen and popular studies. In the 1990's earlier someone had applied the microwave technique in this realm, and acquired some practical results. The microwave heating technique is different from the normal heating, and is a kind heating technique of matter heated outside and inside almost at the same time,.and it not only heats quick and even, but also has the selectivity. Its selectivity is because the ability of material's absorbing the microwave energy is decided by itself permittivity. To make use of these characteristics.we can not only make the diesel soot burn that accumulates in the diesel wall-flow ceramic particulate filter, but also maintain the ceramic filter to be placed in the lower temperature so as to it's not damaged. This paper, as primary study on this realm because of only study in laboratory, We have accomplished 260 hours bench test in Changchun Automobile Institute, and discusses the microwave characteristics of the particle from diesel emission and the behaviors of the catalyst (metals oxide) chosen in the microwave field. It gives out the theory hermeneutic on the microwave heating and at the same time explains the possibility of that method in this paper.Thesis inside the first part overviews now domestic and international counterplan and main technique to deal with the diesel emission pollution, and expatiate every kind of method.
