Cement concrete pavement with lean concrete permeable base(LCPB) is a new kind of pavement structure, which have many main characteristics such as High-strength, strong slab entirety, high load-carrying ability. However, There are no deep research on the structural design and analytical method in our country. Research on lean concrete permeable base is relatively weak. From two aspects, that is, the interface character and pavement structure of cement concrete pavement with lean concrete permeable base, this paper has done the research of concrete pavement with lean concrete base. By the push-out test on site, the interfacial shear strength and the relationship of thrust-displacement for pavement composed of cement concrete and lean concrete are tested and the mechanical model and relative factor, which simulate the contact status between cement concrete slab and lean concrete base, are put forward. On the base of this, considering the interface-contact status, a finite element method (FEM) and a method for analyzing the load stress are presented, which can be applied to investigate the cement concrete pavement with lean concrete permeable base and a large number of calculations by FEM are carried on. The numerical results are compared with which are yielded from the load stress method in the design specification respectively. That will form the basic foundation for the structure design of this kind of pavement.
