Along with the development of economic, high slopes become more and more in many construction engineering fields. The deformation of high slopes are complex, but high cut slopes are more complex in landslide zone. The need of study on stability and deformation mechanism is exigent. According to The National Society Commonweal Special Founding Item, this thesis deploys the study on this aspect.First, the thesis points out the primary problems existing in the study of deformation for high slopes and designing of retaining structures now. The study evolves about the existing problems. Through the research of a mass of high cut slopes, high cut slopes are classified, and discussing the dominating factors elaborately which influence high cut slopes stability. The deformation failure modes of high cut slopes are summarized, and analyzing the deformation failure mechanism. On this base, the thesis studies the deformation failure mechanism detailedly on Zhangjiaping slide of Wanliang expressway. The excavating defoemation regulation in the geomechanics model test of Zhangjiaping slide is concluded under such two conditions: only excavation without retaining structures and excavation with retaining structures done. Then analyze the internal force testing results, in order to judge the slope stability and reinforce impact. Next, the thesis remarks on the designing and computing methods of anti-sliding pile with prestressed anchor cable and frame foundation beam with prestressed anchor cable, which are adopted in Zhangjiaping slide. Give the more reasonable methods for computing internal force. At last, in order to validate and perfect the theoretic results, Comparing the theoretic results to the testing results of retaining structures internal force. And the influencing factors of anchor cable prestress loss and the methods to decreasing the prestress loss are discussed.
