The thesis focused on studying the mechanics behavior of long-span single tower cable-stayed bridge with building up the integrated finite element model based on a practical project. At first, the author used minimum bending energy method which took the minimum stress of girder and tower in the finished dead state as the objective function to decide reasonable finished dead state, then adopted the backward analysis-forward iteration method for determining reasonable construction state. The thesis also simulated the entire construction course with two case: took time-dependent effect into account or not, principally analyzed the time-dependent effect on the performance of structure. Seismic characteristics of structure was studied by the response spectrum analysis in the thesis. At last, the thesis researched the construction and finished state stability. Therefore, the static, dymatic and stable performance and analysing method of the long-span single tower cable-stayed bridge were comprehensively understood.
