Application Of Database Technology To Engine Assembly And Experiment

Engine assembly and experiment process involves many steps, such as research, manufacture, assembly, experiment and so on, a lot of data and information will be exchanged between on another step. The tranditional data management system is not suitable for the modern engine development, the new data and information management system with high efficiency is necessary. In this case, database technology is a better choice for the sake of improving management quality and efficiency. In this paper, the database technology is applied to the filed of engine assembly and experiment, design documents, assembly documents and test documents are establshied and coordinated by database technology, in order to help the engine researchers, engine test engineers manage and share the data and information, several new data and information management systems with high efficiency are developed successfully, mainly including four subsystem such as real time management system of engine assembly process, engine thermo balance test system, engine experiment data management system, and engine database long-distance management system, the application framework and logic structure are designed, data models are presented,the hardware development and software development of every subsystem are introduced.
