For solving the problems those will emerge from the implementation of the CNS, ICAO proposed the future development of the automation and one-system trend of the air transportation information system to all its members. The automation and one-system trend have been an international trend which is also very meaningful to the development of air transportation management in China.The thesis made a research on air transportation information system from the point of view of the database. The thesis built a conceptual model of the air transportation information system and a datatype model of the air transportation information system database. The emphases were on the building of the conceptual structure, logical structure, physical structure and application development of the database of the air traffic control system. The conceptual structure and logical structure of the airline and the airport database were also built. The thesis got the advantage of the Octree algorithm to make a common indexing system of the air transportation information resources.The thesis has implemented the datatype model of the air transportation information system database with the objected-oriented relational database Oracle9i using the structured query language, loaded the air transportation information into the database and built the view of the database considering the needs of the application.Based on the built air transportation information database system, the writer has developed an application to analysis the air traffic flow of our country at the end of the thesis. The analysis provided a method of solving the congestion of the air transportation with considerable e ffectiveness and. an acceptable cost. The analysis were also meaningful to improve the efficiency of the airport, reduce the in-flight delay of the airplane and reduce the operational costs of the airline. |
