Spherical port plate pair has more superiority to planar port plate pair, because its small size being easy to sustain load, strong ability against overturning torque and its high volume efficiency, but the study of spherical port plate pair is not enough. Base on the theory of planar port plate pair and experience of inquiring planar port plate pair, the paper analysis the kinematics of spherical port plate pair and simplify the physical model of spherical port plate pair; pressure equation and flow equation of fixed spherical slit is derived, then it establishes Mathematic model, leakage model and optimal Model of spherical. Hereto the theory of spherical port plate pair is perfected.Based on the mathematic model of spherical port plate pair, the paper put forward a new way to verify transmission mechanism's parameter of axial potion pump. At the same time, it introduce on the torques formula of the cylinder of spherical port plate pair, then it offer theoretical basis to determinate the importance of all kinds of torques.
