Aims at finishing the national"863" scientific research project" Full System Loads Analysis and Optimize Design of HAWT Software", the paper present the Dynamic Simulation models of main components of power train and control system of HAWT. Based on these, the paper developed a Dynamic Simulation module of control system of HAWT with the software developed tool of Visual C++. The module is based on the platform of WIN32. The module was integrated with the HAWT aerodynamic performance and structure CAD software "Blade Design for Windows" with seamless. This work let the capability of "Blade Design for Windows" expand to the whole machine of HAWT. In the same time, based on much experience of design work for wind turbine, the paper research on the aspect of design technique of whole machine of HAWT and summarize some information about the work. The paper include three section, research on the aspect of design technique of whole machine, development of the Dynamic Simulation module of control system , and development of the software.Some information about design technique of whole machine of HAWT such as targets of the design, design method, the calculation of performance of the turbine is summarized. The cruces of design of power train and control system is also presented, let the design theory of whole machine of HAWT is more systemizing. The effect of hub diameter, set angle, rotate speed of turbine on HAWT aerodynamic performance is researched. Some repair method for the thing that the hub diameter enlarging let the HAWT aerodynamic performance turn to bad is presented. It is effective that the HAWT aerodynamic performance in lower wind speed is recovered by adjust rotate speed of turbine and set angle, and can lower the wind speed for start up.The mathematics model of generator used in HAWT and other main components of power train and control system are established. Because there are many types of generator applied in HAWT and the emphases of simulation are very difference, many types of model of generator applied in HAWT are established, include kinetics, electronic model of induction generator, first order model of double-feed induction generator, model of RCC (Rotor current controller). To the control system, The mathematics model of transducers, blade actuator, PI controller to rotate speed, PI controller to the torque, PI controller to the blade angle are established.The Dynamic Simulation models of typical controlled processes of wind turbine are established. These processes include startup, normal stop, emergency stop, idling, fix speed stall regulated, fix speed pitch regulated, variable speed stall regulated and variable speed pitch regulated.Based on the method of Object Oriented Programming (OOP), the module developed by the paper is integrated with the presented HAWT aerodynamic performance and structure CAD software "Blade Design for Windows", conform a Dynamic Simulation system of Typical Controlled Process of HAWT.Finally, the preceding model is used to calculate the whole machine's performance of a 600KW HAWT. The calculate result are compared with the result calculated by international famous CAD software for HAWT Blade for Windows to demonstrate the accuracy. The comparison of the performance between the results of the preceding model and the BLADED FOR WINDOWS is in good agreement.
