With the rapid development of urbanization, the eco-environmental crises have attracted the whole world's attention. How to resolve the various problems of urban environment and realize city's sustainable development with the theory and method of bionomics is a fatal topic for all the people working on the ecological and environmental protection. The method which correspond the relation between humanity and nature by using ecological planning is catching more attention and developing promptly. It will have a wide applied range and expansive enveloping space.. But because of the complexity and relative factors' diversity in a region, many evaluation methods of ecological suitability analysis which is an important foundation of ecological planning are being gradually explored and improved. So the thesis mainly contents:(1) Introduces the process and the background in which the ecological planning was brought forward at home and abroad; sums up the present situations and methods of ecological suitability analysis.(2) On the basis of the analysis of the structure, function and character of the urban ecosystem, an ecological suitability evaluation index system is established according to the nation's standard for ecological model area and ecological city. The index system falls into four basic parts: object evaluation, system evaluation, factor evaluation and indicator evaluation. Thirty-six indicators were chosen from economy advancement aspect, social improvement aspect and ecological environment aspect.(3) On the basis of the summarization of the common evaluation methods and models, this thesis introduces the grey theory to urban ecological suitability. A grey relation projection model for ecological suitability analysis is established based on grey system theory and vector projection principle. In the model, evaluated samples and classified standards are treated as vector, and projected on the same ideal samples respectively. Then, evaluated samples are classified and arranged in the projective value.(4) As a case, the grey relation projection mode, on the premise that the criteria andstandards of ecological suitability analysis are established, is used to assess the ecological suitability of 9 cities in Zhejiang Province. The gradation is Hangzhom Ningbo^ ShaoxingN WenzhouN JiaxingN Jinhua> Huzho^ Taizhou-. Lishui, that is, Hangzhou is on the top , Lishui is at the bottom.(5) Comparing the results educed from Grey Relation Analysis Model with those from common indexes and estimation method, the conclusions are analogous. The Grey Relation Analysis Model makes the best of the information we held, thus the conclusion is intuitionist and reliable, and can reflect the integrated effect acted on ecosystem by the multi-factor interaction. The Model is a preferable approach for multi-factor estimation. In addition, with a compendious and straightaway arithmetic, Grey Relation Analysis Model has no use for abundant swatches and classical distributed regularity, and all it needs is just a few swatches which calculated simply. The result shows that this model is scientific and effective for ecological sensitivity evaluation.It's the first time to introduce Grey Relation Analysis Model into urban ecological suitability estimation in our study. We systemically established the index system of integrated estimation of urban ecological suitability, confirmed suitable estimation index system in different area considering the idiographic traits of the city we studied, and ascertained the weights of different indexes affecting on ecological suitability with entropy coefficient. The study approached an effective method to research the characters of urban ecosystem, the state of development and the direction of succession, avoided the interference of man-made subjective factors, and exposure the spatial difference in urban ecological suitability development quantitatively. The method is practicable and maneuverable in territorial urban ecological quality comparing and Eco-functional Regionalization.
