Gamma camera is an important diagnostic instrument in nuclear medical field, and it is one of the most basic and important image instruments in modern nuclear medical.Gamma camera utilizes the density distributing of the nuclide and its movement to form images. Not only it can reflect the characteristics of human configuration, but also it can form images of human organs' function. Medicines tagged by radionuclide take part in human body's metabolism, that is to say, they take part in human body's physiological process, then gamma camera utilizes the nuclide to image the changes of human's physiology. In nuclear medical area, gamma camera is mainly used to the dynamic research and disease diagnoses of many organs, such as heart, brain, kidney, lungs and so on. It is an important instrument to diagnose diseases of tumor and cycle system.Gamma camera is composed of forepart electronics circuit, data acquisition system and data process system. The forepart electronics circuit gathers original data information, and data acquisition system collects these data information based on the different requests of users and transfers them to main computer. Then data process system runs in main computer do some corresponding data processing, and display the different images formed by processed data information on screen.This thesis emphasized introduces the design of gamma camera data acquisition system based on PCI9810 data acquisition card. It is the important part of whole gamma camera system, and its primary function is to achieve various data acquisition mode in the process of data acquisition and data transportation.The first part of the thesis is prolegomenon. It introduces what gamma camera is and the components of gamma camera, as well as the main content and specific research work of this thesis.The second part of the thesis introduces the work theory of gamma camera system and each subsystem's function.The third part is the emphasis of the thesis. It mainly introduces how to realize thedesign of gamma camera data acquisition system based on PCI9810 data acquisition card, and makes emphasis on the work principle and the way to achieve its function of each data acquisition mode, including static data acquisition mode, dynamic data acquisition mode, systemic scan data acquisition mode and cardiac gating data acquisition mode. Especially, it introduces cardiac R-wave pick-up arithmetic which is one of innovative point in this thesis.The last part of the thesis introduces the realization of gamma camera system testing function through programming.
