The development of the railway transportation tremendously accelerates national economy developing. With the development of the opening to the world and the national economy, raising travel speed and heavy haul are developmental tendency of the railway transportation. To adapt to developing current, the department of railway carried out 5 times' raising speed of vehicles. High speed and heavy haul made vehicle and track vibrate more swiftly. At the same time, the noise is increasingly getting worse and worse , and gives some bad effect to the health of the passengers and people who live near the railway. Aimed at the current problems, the dynamic force of wheel/ track for high frequency is virtually discussed in this paper.In this paper, the coupling thought of vehicle/track is applied, based on the vertical vehicle/track coupling model, a Timoshenko model of rail for high frequency is developed to investigate the vertical vibration of vehicle/track in this paper. The differential equation of vehicle/track vibration are derived, mode superposition method is made better of to seek for mode roots. A simulation program is designed for the dynamic system by using a new fast-integration method to simulate the high frequency vibration of the wheel/track. On the same condition, the result of simulation is compared with those of the Euler model and Zhai's experiment to verify the program valid. Under the excitation of some irregularities such as dipped joint, harmonious wave etc, the results of simulation for final frequency 5000Hz are analysed and compared with those of the Euler beam model.
