The capability of vehicle air conditioning system is a important standard of vehicle capability.One important problem in vehicle industry is how to improve the structure of air conditioning system,that's to reduce the inequality of liquid flow in the HVAC system and increase the efficiency of the HVAC core.So,a practical alternative is numerical analysis,that is to develop mathematics models.For traditional test designs could not deal with the reason of disadvantage complication to affect the capability of air conditioning system,the numerical simulation has been used in the design of vehicle air conditioning system recently,and its applications in the design are becoming a new trend in the design and optimization in the air conditioning structure.therefore,the researches on numerical simulating air conditioning system and optimization could provide new practical methods,and then enrich methodology in air conditioning design theogy. HVAC is the important part of vehicle air conditioning system,and its capability has a great many influence for the comfortable,economicand credible capability of air conditioning system.For improving on the structure of HVAC,shortening the time periods of product design and reducing the cast of design,this paper describes the numerical simulation of a typical HVAC in vehicle air conditioning system f through applying the theogy of Computational Fluid Dynamitics(CFD).CFD technique is a strongly research field in international range recently,and it is a important technique of researchs in transfer heat,transfer mass,momentum transfer etc.It is one of the important field for optimization of HVAC.CFD soft may fastly,truly and clear reflect the process of liquid flow in HVAC,therefore,it is easy to find the problems of the design from the analysis and to improve on the design to avoid the waste of manpower and material resources. Consequently,this paper uses the FLURENT soft of a famous flow soft to simulate HVAC of air conditioning system to gain a conclusion for improving on system.First,it is to eatablish the model of HVAC and confirm simulation arithmetic and onflow model.In numerical simulation,the model can influence the veracity and computing precision of analysis reasons.It has agreat many influence for convergence velocity of analysis for the different arithmetics and onflow models.a good arithmetic and onflow model can improve convergence volecity and shorten computing time.Second,it is to simulate and optimize model.Through analysis reasons,illogicality design structure can be found and newly optimize design. By applying CFD to simulate designs and improve on the inconsequential designs,it can make the symmetrical distributing of velocity and temperature of air in HVAC,obtain a proper value of velocity and reduce the yawp value.From the result of simulation,the numerical model has been optimized.It advances the capability od air-conditioning system.While applying CFD to the design of HVAC,it carry the purpose of shortening the design periods of HVAC and reducing the costs of empolderings and tests.
