Study On Planning Strategy For Mountain Cities And Towns Space In The Three Gorges Reservoir Region

The planning and construction confront problems such as urban scale of cities and towns expansion rapidly and land resource lacking and environment polluting in the cities and towns of the Three Groges Reservoir Region at the propelling of urbanization rapidly. So the cities and towns need more sciencful and more reasonable development mode to conduct their construction.This thesis study the character and problems faced in the construction recently,such as the natural environment and economic and society and politics and history and culture and technology etc.The thesis point out the compact space development mode based on the sustainable development through analyzing the development of the cities and towns in history and the theoritical study on the development mode of mountain urban space and the pratice of theory,therefore test the compact development mode is the requst to adapt the need of urbanization and cooperate the relation between people-land and elavating the valuation of constructive land and protecting the environment.The thesis point out the outstanding that the development of cities and towns in the Three Groges Reservoir Region live with the natural environment and eco-technology and the character of the view and the history-culture.Then explain how to establish the compact development mode in detail in order to respect the natural character of city space and then make the city space adapt the rule of urban economic operation.Even then the urban space can fully express the roll in natural ecology and social economic and then conduct the urban space healthily develop in order.Taking Yunyang city as examples, in the thesis we discuss the practice of the compact development mode in urban space development of cities and towns in the Three Groges Reservoir Region currently.
