The automobile trade, as the pillar industry of a lot of countries,It represents the industrial level of a country,Influences the national economy of a country too,So it is particularly important to improve the competitiveness of the automobile products。In order to control the product quality of the automobile, improve the quality of the automobile, quality of the spare part must be put forward high strict demand. The gear box of the automobile is an important spare part in their transmission departments. Gear box manufacturer and gear box determiner hope to confirm the life-span of the gear box accurately through the test. Gear box test has a long testing period and require it go on under certain temperature, load. In the course of testing, there are a lot of the primitive measurement target not be shown as Electricity, such as Temperature, rotational speed ,torque , displacement ,etc. How to turn these primitive physical quantities into electric consumption signals that can be measured and how to write down, analyses, deal with, monitor and control to these signals. These methods fully reflect the production efficiency of a producer, a trade and modernized level of science , In other words , Recording instrument is a sign of industrial automation level. Since the 1990s, with the developing of Virtual Instruments technology, all kinds of multi-functional intelligent record instruments adopted the automatic technology of the low cost keep developing rapidly and actually be applied to the industrial field in a large amount. But at present, domestic general gear box change shelf test platform adopt artificial control way that write down regularly, the labour intensity of testing personnel is greater, and efficiency is low. with synthesizing a large number of domestic and foreign materials, and finding out the current situation of the computer aided testing system, we designed the Virtual Instrument based monitoring system for automobile gearbox gearshift test. Applied PC gathered the data through A/D card as the front machine on this system hardware, the system monitor each testing shelf, and the monitoring data are kept into the database, can be transmitted by the network to the server and analyzed. The system have realized the human-computer interaction interface in Virtual Instrument way and bring into low cost by software technology.
