In all kinds of calamities, Fire is the most dangerous and destructive disaster. Especially in recent years, because the buildings become high-rise and large-scale and complex in use, the factors that lead to fire increase, and the scale of fire is expanded day by day too. As a rapid developmental structural system, the steel structure has much merit, but the steel is not fire-resistant.Based on the research dynamic condition of fire-resistance for steel structure in domestic and international, according to the classical theory of calorific and the finite element analysis theory, utilizing the thermal-structural coupling analyse of ANSYS, adopting the performance of physics and mechanics of steel at high temperature that CEN suggests, this paper analyzes the fire-resistant performance of two plane steel-frame structures.First of all, this paper analyzes the distributing situation of sectional temperature of two steel frame models within an hour utilizing the transient thermal analyse module of ANSYS;Secondly, carries on the failure analysis to two steel frame models at high temperature and obtains the fire-resistant limit and critical temperature of steel frame, utilizing the static nonlinear analyse module of ANSYS and considering the influence of geometry nonlinearity and material nonlinearity; Finally, according to the fire-protection designing requirement of structure, deduce a method to computer the thickness of fireprotection layer for steel structure and ask out the thickness of fireprotection layer of two steel frame models according to this method .
