| Fans are applied various departments of Country economy, as primary machine equip to transport gas. At certain situation, when flux,pressure of single fan can not me et system demand, m u l t i-fans combine operation is adopted. At present, research & use of fans combine operation mostly localizations same category fans, study of different category fans series operation is less. To make clear operation rules & characterist ic of different category fans series, this study select "Exhaust characteristic of Cross Flow fan & Centrifugal fan series "as researchful object. We designed and manufactured fan performance test rig , and had exhaust c a p a b i l i t y experiment of single fan ,experiment of double fans serial exhaust Critical point & characteristic overlapping. By analyzed and summarized to abundance experiment dates, basically made clear exhaust characteristic general rules of different category fans series, principium probed into serial Critical point (or Critical curve) basic theory of fans. On the base of analyzed single fan characteristic, this study separately examined and measured Critical Points of Cross Flow & Centrifugal fans series under different speed, and drew series Critical curves of them. It offers theoretical evidence to series operation of Cross Flow Fan & Centrifugal Fan. At the same time, this study drew some new conclusions, they had important guidance meaning to system design & more principle research.
