Experiment Study On The Suction Characteristic Of Cross Flow Fan & Centrifugal Fan

As the main gas transportation equipment, fans are widely used for many departments of national economy. In the gas transfer process, the fan performance is very important. When single fan can not meet the system requirement, multi-fans combine operation is adopted so that the working ability of fan can be improved. At present, the exhaust performance of serial fan has been shown, but the suction performance of serial fan has not been pointed out.This paper selects the suction performance of cross-flow fan and centrifugal fan as the research object. The cross-flow fan and the fan performance test rig are designed and manufactured. The suction performance experiments of single fan and serial fans are carried out. At the same time, suction critical points of serial fans are pointed out. The relationship between the suction performance curves of serial fans and the theoretical overlapping is analyzed and summarized, so the general rules of cross-flow fan and centrifugal fan in serial are pointed out. Serial critical working conditions are studied and the critical curves of cross-flow and centrifugal fan are drawn. This article provides the basis for serial fans research.
