The cable-girder anchorage zones of cable-stayed bridges, which bear giant cable forces and have complicated structure , are keys to structure design. The fatigue resistance of complicated welded structure subjected to moving vehicle loads needs to be further researched. The Zhanjiang Bay Bridge applies the Cable-girder anchorage with tensile anchor plate. Taking the fatigue test for the Zhanjiang Bay Bridge as an instance, the design of fatigue test and the fatigue reliability of the Cable-girder anchorage are studied in this thesis. The main contents are in the followings.First of all, some basic conceptions of steel bridge fatigue are introduced.The main factors causing steel bridge fatigue are analyzed. The advantages and disadvantages of the fatigue damage cumulative rules are discussed.Secondly, the typical models of cable-girder anchorage for long-span cable-stayed bridges with steel box girder are introduced and studied. And the conclusions of some fatigue tests are introduced and summarized. The fatigue test model of the Zhanjiang Bay Bridge is designed, and some rules about the fatigue test are summarized.At last, the data of the fatigue test is analyzed. Based on this, test results and theory results are compared. Through analyzing and evaluating, it is proved that the the cable-girder anchorage zones of the Zhanjiang Bay Bridge are reliable. Some conclusions were summarized and the problems that should be studied further were put forward in the end of the dissertation.
