The numerical simulation of the natural river has always been the subject that the engineering fluid mechanics circles are interested in.Combined the present scientific research and the project reality,the thesis comfirms the target of studying as the two-dimensional invariable flow field during the river diversion.In this thesis, the Finite Difference Method (FDM) is adopted to simulate two-dimensional river flow field during diversion construction. Firstly, the basic principles of numerical simulation are introduced. Secondly, the mathematical model of the river flow field is inquired into from common to individual. Thirdly, the equation of the mathematical model is analyzed by alternating direct implicit(ADI) format of FDM,and the discrete equations are solved by chase method.Finally, each parameter of the narrow river flow field are received.To visualize the result,the thesis selects MATLAB as the developing instrument to work out the procedure showing the river flow field suitably,and realizes the visualization of the flow data by using GUI.First construction period of diversion project of liuku is cited to verify correctness of computing method of flow field and validity of river diversion application.Through the numerical calculation of the two different design plans and the visualization of the flow data,the two schemes are analysed for choice.Furthermore, computation results accord with the physical model experiment results on the spot.
