Development Of No-standard Defference Pressure Flowmeter

Difference pressure flowmeter is a prospective instrument in the field of flow measurement with unique advantage of versatility and needless actual liquid calibration, it is extensively used for various flow measurement. A series of theory researches and experiment studies are carried out to investigate the influencing factors of the instument. In order to provide necessary processing parameters and measurement equipments for holographical detection of rotary kiln, three kinds of no-standard difference pressure flowmeters are designed according to the actual technics process of the rotary kiln of aluminium oxide. The main results in this paper are as follows:1. The generation and fundamental principle of difference pressure flowmeter is illustrated as well as its configuration. Also its development status and trend is described besides its virtue and deficiency.2. By making use of the law of hydrodynamical similarity and model building, a kind of elbow meter is developed. The results of the experimental data analysis and theory study are consistency. The limitations that caused by the elements such as workshop narrowness, straight tubes short are overcome.3. Since lots of coal grains exist in the pipe, the use of common flowmeter will give rise to pipe blockage, what is more, the meter accuracy will be reduced after long-term use. A new-type 1/4 circular stopper differential pressure flowmeter is designed.4. A late-model pitometer measuring stickiness air is exploited in term of the principle of backrest pitometer that can measure air of high temperature, high adhesiveness, and thick coal particles. The limitation that pitometer only measures clean airstream is eliminated.5. For the sake of calibrating these flowmeters, a series of experiments are carried out with the designed experimental facilities.6. By means of experimental research, data analysis, graphical chart fitting and data emulation, the results indicate that these designed flowmeters have good practicability. The credible flow measurement devices are provided for rotary kiln holographical detection of aluminium oxide workshop of Henan Brach China Aluminium Co.LTD.
