Embankment is main structure format of road engineering roadbed. The process of construction and quality of completion are of critical importance for service quality,traffic safety,maintenance,operation economic of entire road. Compared with other kinds of roadbed, high fill embankment has the characteristic of larger settlement,longer ultimate settlement time, and it requires higher ground carrying capacity. So the research has important practical significance. On ground of 118 entrance road project of Hankou Air Force new airport, this thesis employees a method of combined theoretical and numerical analysis, analysis the process of soft base,procedure of fill roadbed,stability of embankment under special load. Firstly, by indoor experiment and field observation data, a finite element analysis model of high fill embankment is built. Making use of a great finite element analysis software ANSYS, settlement deformation of roadbed can be predicted. Through analysis and comparison, reasonable base process scheme can be recommended. Then research various kind of degree of compaction and fill thickness, find best construction technique of high fill embankment. By dynamic finite element method analysis to what extent using tamping method to process embankment can reduce non-uniform settlement. Furthermore, once embankment is filled, it will immediately be a place for pre-cast beams, then analysis will be made to evaluate whether this site satisfy the demand of pre-cast construction and vehicle passage. Finally, analysis special road with complicated geology condition and stability of slope by strength reduction FEM, testify whether this process method meet need. Through finite element analysis, foundation treatment and embankment fill scheme can be optimized, pre-cast site satisfy the demand of production, And it insure project can be safely,efficiently finished, save much time for construction units, and create favorable economic and social effect.
