| In this paper, calculation model and mearurement meathod were researched for thebraided shield cables transfer impedance. Firstly, an improved calculation model waspresented, and then a measurment meathod and its improved methods for braided shieldcables were introduced and compared to calculation result. Secondly, control cables insubstations were researched and to be divided into single-shield and double-shield cabletransfer impedance of which have been caculated later.After discussing the calculation ofthe double-shield cables ,a measuring method and its improved method based onmeasurement of braid shield cables were introduced. In addition ,a simple but effectivebench for measuring transfer impedance of shield cables was designed and completed inthis paper.
