The research on the structure strength of new type composite GFRP kuppe, (supported by the CSIC-No.715 Research & Development Institute and CSIC-No.701 Research & Development Institute) has been developed by the author and the advisor. The finite element analysis programs are employed for modeling and simulation and analysis on the statics response characters of the composite GFRP kuppe. Some significative conclusions were obtained. The history and advance in the researches of the kuppe and composite are reviewed comprehensively at first.Kuppe's structure,history, some abreast of the times production are introduced.The main comments are systematically remarked on the mechanics capability research of composite, the achievements and advances in mechanics capability research of composite. Then the theories of mechanics capability research of composite are presented. Combining to the kuppe's structure, several computational examples are solved with these theories. Under the loads mentioned in the paper, it is found that the core is disadvantage to the kuppe's structure intensity. And the structure and place of reinforce muscle have strong influence to the kuppe's structure intensity. With the finite element analysis program of Ansys, the statics response characters and the mode of the composite GFRP kuppe are simulated. The mechanics capability of pure GFRP kuppes and RS kuppes are compared and analysed. Comparing the values of simulation with the experimental results, it found that they are very close.
