Information management system of dam safety monitoring (IMSDS) is highly important for keeping watch on dam safety and improving efficiency and quality of dam safety operating. In order to develop an efficient and steady IMSDS, the reasonable structure, the suitable platform, the flexible interface of application and DBMS, and the proper interface between data acquisition system and information management system are very decisive.In this article, the IMSDS based on combinative structure of C/S and B/S is thoroughly studied. On the basis of multi-layer C/S structure, database middleware, Web database access technology and .net based B/S structure, the design of three-layer C/S structure, and Web application based on a strong combination of ASP.NET and ADO.NET are emphasized. At the same time, data online processing which is a core problem in DSIMS is explained at length. And the conception of fuzzy is employed to improve stepwise regression algorithm which is a common way of building statistic model. The result indicates that the effect is satisfying.Combining the software development of dam safety monitoring of Wohushan reservoir, the material design idea, the way of implement, and the plan of database applied on the information management system of dam safety monitoring are introduced at last. And some key technical matters of software development are also studied deeply.
