Many area's wire have interlinked through tie lines with the scale of the wireenlarging and enlarging. Because tie lines' power is large, how to ensure the wire runsafely and stably is very important while happen any accident. The subject hasacademic meaning and more applied worth. The article analyses the optimal power flow arithmetic considering tie linestransient stability constraint firstly, and discusses their advantage and disadvantage.Secondly the article uses threshold power on tie lines as inequality constraints inoptimal power flow. The threshold power was determined through finding the relationbetween the change of generator real power and the change of tie lines real power. This new arithmetic separate optimal power flow account from transient stabilityaccount, so it predigest nonlinear equation's rank. This method avoids the problem of hard calculation in an effective way withtransient stability constraints. The simplified two procedures show that the adoptedmethod is effective.
