The key technical links involved in diaphragm wall and intermediate supportingpost in inverted construction method are theoretically analyzed and studied in thispaper By means of results in this topic the ways for improving inverted constructiontechnique are suggested. Meanwhile, in the light of engineering practice thetechnological-economical analysis for inverted construction method are conducted toprovide some data for spreading inverted construction method form now on.The main contributions for spreading inverted construction technique offered bythis paper are as follows.1. The extensive study about speed for trench forming, calculating water pressure,determining the index of wall protection slurry, handling the joints of wallsegments .etc are engaged in. Some instructive conclusions about diaphragm walldesign and construction are put forward.2. One of the advantage for adopting steel tubular column filled with concrete asthe immediate supporting post is the unity of the temporary retaining system and thepermenant structure. The essentials for steel tubular column filled with concreteconstruction and the joints design are summed up.
