Based on the workshop building of the extension projects of the machine shop of a heavy equipment liability company in the background, through summarized information on the construction technology of concrete filled steel tubular columns at home and abroad, heavy-duty workshop are described in detail in the construction technology and process of concrete-filled steel tube fabrication, hoisting and column concrete pumping, initially concluded:(1) Strengthening the quality control of the production process of steel pipe columns, can effectively reduce the probability of hidden trouble appears in the welding line position, ensuring the security and integrity of the column shaft in hoisting steel pipe column and the concrete pump lifting process, so the overall safety and using function of workshop structure after completion is guaranteed. The most unfavorable conditions in the process of hoisting steel pipe column are simulated by using large finite element software, the influence of stress on welding line and the overall safety in hoisting process is analyzed, the suitability of selection of hoisting methods is verified, and accordingly the hoisting process, column shaft positioning and solid measures are made to implement to achieve the quality requirements.(2) Using large finite element software to analyze the stress and strain of steel pipe column shaft in concrete pump lifting process, the various stress distributions under the most unfavorable conditions are understood, while using traditional calculation method to possible broken welding line for further review. According to the most unfavorable calculation result, the final pump pressure is determined, pump selection reasonable and steel pipe column shaft safety are ensured.(3) In concrete pumping process of the steel pipe column strict lifting measures should be developed and executed, selecting non-return device is simple and practical, to ensure smooth implementation of concrete lifting, while decrease or even eliminate the possibility of welding line cracking, the integrity of steel pipe column shaft and the compactness of concrete are ensured.Results of this study will provide the reference and guidance for the same construction or similar structure.
