Couple vibration of train-bridge system induces vibration of surrounding soil andbuildings. Sequentially, bring influence to surrounding soil and buildings Theinfluence degree of vibration demand that this problem should be pay sufficientattention In order to prevent and reduce damage of vibration to the nearby buildingseffectively, it is urgent to analyze the influence of the coupled vibration of thetrain-bridge system on the nearby buildings. In this thesis, the influence of the couple vibration of the train-bridge system on thesurrounding soil and buildings is systemically performed. First of all, the importanceof analyses the influence of coupled vibration of train-bridge system on thesurrounding environments is discussed, the research achievements of this field aresummarized. Base on this, the influence of the couple vibration of the train running onelevated light railway is systemically performed. The model for vibration analysis ofthe pier-foundation –surrounding soil-buildings is established, in which the four nodesquadrangle isoperimetric element model for soil. The step-by-step integral method isadopted to solve the quadratic differential equations;the related computer program isgenerated. Taking a four-span continuous rigid-framed prestressed concrete bridge in Tianjinlight railway engineering as an example, the influence of the coupled vibration of thetrain-bridge system on the surrounding soil and nearby buildings is numericallyanalyzed. Finally, some conclusions are given as follows. (1) The vibration of theground induced by running train, with the increase of the distance between the soiland railway, it's accelerations and displacements attenuate, vertical vibration attenuatefaster. (2) The maximum of accelerations and displacements appear at the beginningof vibration, the response of vertical vibration is greater than horizontal vibration. (3)The accelerations and displacements rebound, and attenuate subsequently. (4) Thesimilar conclusions can be given to the vibration of building induced by running train. With the increase of the distance the vibration attenuate gradually, and at the samedistance, the maximal response of the vibration appears at the top story of thebuilding.
