| When alcohol fuel replaces gasoline and diesel oil, it can increase the content ofunregulated emission including formaldehyde,acetaldehyde,methanol,ethanol,1,3-butadiene and benzene of motor. Their contamination effect is serious that it isnecessary to get the analytic method. In this paper, the gas chromatography(GC) andgas chromatography-mass spectrum (GC-MS) were used to study the technique.Using the method of computer simulated forecast the retention time, the authorsuccessfully predicted that the optimal separating temperature was 40℃ and onlyselected one capillary column FFAP to separate from these unregulated emission andproved the result to be right by experiment.The least limit of detection offormaldehyde that lowly responds to flame ionizaztion detector (FID) is less than5×10-6. Except some alkyl hydrocarbons affect the separation of 1,3-butadiene, themethod can get the satisfied separation and accord with the basic detected standard ofunregulated emission of alcohol fuel automobile.Benzene was used as an internal standard, the calibration factors of the primaryunregulated emission were measured. Moreover, aldehyde or ketone and2,4-dinitrophenylhydrazine was used to form 2,4-dinitrophenylhydrazone. Thereagent were injected directly on the GC and the calibration factors of the derivativeswere determined. By right of a new calculation formula for the calculating relativemass calibration factor based on the FID,the calibration factors were calculated. Theerror of experiment and prediction was less than 0.3%. The experimental method andthe calculation formula were simple and feasible. They can give good results ofcalibration factor for other aldehyde and ketone derivatives.In order to farther get the high sensitive response of the unregulated emissionon the FID, the author introduced the patent technique "the method of concentrate onthe chromatograph". The method can improve 102-104 quantitatively. Finally,at theexhaust emission test bench using a gasoline engine with alcohol fuel,the resultsproved that the method was credible.The analytic means of unregulated emission of alcohol fuel automobile has beenfound. It is not only helpful to the investigation and exploitation of apparatus, but it isalso significant to lessen deleterious effect to the environment and the human. |
