The software of data acquisition and analysis for gas chromatography workstation is based on the method of GC(Gas Chromatography) analysis. The structure of its hardwares has been established, however, the supporting softwares still need to be improved for better functions and performance. To such a technology, the powerful, flexible and extendable features will play an important role, which will help the technology to account for a remarkable market share and get a positive recognition. To archive the goals, it is necessary to make sure the software should meet the demand in user-friendly experience, quick response to the analysis and precision in results. For instance, the software could reduce the artificial interference as much as possible, reuse the batch task to improve the software’s efficiency and optimize the analysis workflow, which could guarantee the software has more accurate result returned so that the technology could close or exceed the other products.The paper will cover:(1)Identify the purpose of the paper, do a deep investigation on the problem exists in the chromatographic analysis at home and abroad, meanwhile, according to the research on the technology’s hardware architecture and theory, we understand and list the technical difficulty and challenge we will have. Eventually, the section identifies that the automatic integration of peak parameters plays a important role to the result’s precision.(2)Use the independent research and development data acquisition board and windows multithreading and serial communications technology, with the customized communication protocol frame structure to design and implement non-blocking, efficient and fault-tolerant real-time data communication mechanism, and extends the implemented protocol frame structure to meet the demand of temperature control. With these features, we could release the operator from monitoring or regulating the instrument temperature conditions.(3)I study 6 classic filtering algorithm and compare the performance index data, formulate the best strategy. The paper develops optimum chromatographic filtering strategy to improve the filtering effect.(4)The section analyzes the problems exist in the three conventional recognition algorithm and then presents a new improved chromatographic peak recognition algorithm, which is based on a time-domain analysis filtering. The new algorithm removes the dependence on searching the peak by spectral peak characteristic and reduces the artificial interference. Moreover, it can reduce the dropout rate, misjudgment and improve the accuracy of the identification of the peak, which could be used to support various chromatographic peak recognition activities as well.(5)This paper designed and implemented a set of Gas Chromatography workstation software system which has been received by domestic and foreign markets.Eventually, the paper does a series of testing on its usability and performance. Improve the accuracy and reliability of the software by executing a specific end-to-end testing.
