Reclamation engineering on estuary is a great matter in economic development ofcoastal cities, which is be relative to not only the rational use to resource in city,terra andsea area, but the sustainable development of outflow from river,erosion and depositionon and coastal ecotope. In this thesis,coastal area and its connected river networksare regarded as a whole system in the reclamation engineering,and the linkup numericalmodeling of the one dimension with Two Dimension Flow-sediment is established,which is base on Preissmann four-point implicit difference scheme and concentratedmass methods with weighted factor FEM. So this makes environmental assessment onestuary reclamation engineering go on successfully.The relation is summarized detailedly on urban development and the sustainabledevelopment basing on estuary reclamation engineering. And flow-sediment equationsare deduced in detail. Three-stage method of resultants is used in one dimensional rivernetworks, using concentrated mass methods with weighted factor FEM in twodimensional coastal area. Overlapping and projecting method, using on the publicinternal boundary of one dimension and two dimension, solves the hydraulic calculationon the linkup of the one dimension with two dimension preferably. The flow-sedimentmodeling solves the flow and sediment linkup of one dimension and two dimension, byusing the difference scheme which explicit is prediction and implicit is adjustment anditeration and trigonometric difference. Software for fore and post treatments is workedout to subdivide automatically and dynamic perform by Flash.The effect is researched by mechanical analysis of moving sediment grain, that the reclamationengineering influence upon watercourse surface curve ,outflow from rive and sediment erosion anddeposition. And sediment motion pattern is researched systemically in the reclamation engineering.With the above mathematic model and research techniques, the sediment motion of thereclamation engineering in Taida Yongdingxin River Estuary is simulated, and compared thenumerical results before the engineering with the measured values, the result indicate that thenumerical results are in agreement with the measured values. Also the variable tendency offlow-sediment motion in Taida Yongdingxin River Estuary is predicted, providing theoretical basis forenvironmental assessment of estuary reclamation engineering in Taida, Tianjin.
