The calculation method of reinforced concrete slab is rather mature in buildingengineering. In the past the calculation of these irregular slabs is carried by dividing itinto many regular slabs with beams . So, how to resolve this problem becomes anindispensable content in design work. In this thesis, the analysis method of internal force in slab with concave corner issystematically investigated. At first, the historical course of solving the internal forcein general slab is looked back, and the development and status of the slab calculationtheory is recounted. Demonstrated that only having a good command of the elasticsolution of slab cannot satisfy the demand of the slab design and calculation inpresent, especially in the calculation for bearing capacity of reinforced concrete slab.If there is no correct plastic solution, no limiting bearing capacity of slab and thedesign method of limiting state based on the probability theory is lack of theoreticalecho. Here, through the elastic solution of the slab with concave corner the reasonableyield line in plastic state is found and the limiting bearing capacity of the slab isdetermined. Through analysis, we may recognize the limiting bending moment isnegative, thus the reason for cracking which appeared at first on the surface of theconcave corner is explained. In this thesis, a relative reinforcement method wassuggested, which can be referenced for designer.This thesis carries on a useful discussion and suggests a calculation scheme;meanwhile ANSYS program is used for calculation of slab with concave corner byfinite element analysis and compared with my calculation.
