Steel reinforced concrete (SRC), is a kind of structure element that whit shaped steel and reinforced bar in the concrete. The SRC structures can widely reduce the section size of the column while satisfying the requirement of bearing capacity. Then more usable floor area is gain. At the same time, the shaped steel in the column can increase the aseismic behavior of the structure. The truss type steel reinforced concrete column is a normal SRC style because the contradiction of steel between beams and column can be solved. The results of the truss type SRC columns test is analyzed, and the aseismic behavior of SRC column is deeply studied. With the shaped steel in the column, the bearing capacity is largely increased. Two main factors contribute to the increase: quantity of shaped steel and the section size of the tilted bar and the quality of weld. The rule of the axial force distribution in the SRC column summarized, and a reasonable formula for the axial force level's calculation in SRC column is offered for the design. Besides, the aseismic analysis methods for the SRC structures are listed, and the dynamic time history analysis and static push-over analysis for the whole structure are done. The character of the earthquake response in this kind of structure is analyzed and some advice for actual design is proposed.
