Fiber Reinforce Plastic (FRP) is a kind of composite materials which has high specific intensity, high specific rigidity, low density, excellent corrosion-resistance. Filament winding (FW) is an important method of manufacturing high-intension composite material products, and it is extensively applied in the aviation, astronautic, chemical industry and building material etc. It is the process in which continuous fibers are would on a mandrel to form a composite component.Filament-wound products are produced by using one of the three types of winding patterns: polar, helical and hoop. Filament winding process is well suited to the manufacture of rotationally-symmetric components. Filament-wound composite pressure vessles are widely used for containment of gases/fluid in both military and commercial applications because of their low cost, wight savings and safty.We atudied the method of toroidal vessel after FW pattern has been analyzed, and the feed-eye movement is also analyzed.In the environment of Visual C++, dynamic simulation of FW can be realized by using OpenGL. OpenGL is a high qualified libtaty of 3Dgragh application,and now it has become the development standard of 3D graghics . In this paper, the simulation model has been definded by reometric parameters of totoidal vessel,which has been sreuctured by using relational commands and functions of OpenGL;then FW has been simulated.MFC resource can simplified the programming, then vividly simulate the process of filament winding with OpenGL. It can reduce the production cost and increase the productivity.
