With the development of science and society, performance of automobile braking system is highly required, especially the anti-lock brake system (ABS). Because it can make the vehicle achieve the minimum brake distance on most of the road. Now the ABS is used more and more widely and many manufacturers are developing the new ABS.During braking instant, ABS can avoid the tire locking and ensure the lateral stability and turning steering at the time of braking when the vehicle urgent braking. The test of the ABS is laborious and expensive and needs more time and the special field. So it is limited by the test's condition. In this paper, fuzzy predicative control theory application on automotive anti-lock system is studied. After getting at shortcoming of previous general fuzzy control method and neural network control method, improvement and development are done, and simulation and test are carried out. The mathematic and MATLAB models of automotive dynamics, tyre and braking system are established, based on analysis on automotive braking process and ABS working principle. This paper take the vehicle equipped ABS as research object and simulates the ABS based on the computer technique. General fuzzy controller of ABS is developed. Fuzzifier, defuzzifier and fuzzy rules are established, and predicative control theory is involved in the simulation. As a result, an automobile ABS under fuzzy predicative control is established.
